Installation auf Debian Linux 5.0 (Lenny)

apt-get -u upgrade
apt-get install nant
apt-get install git-core
aptitude install build-essential swig autoconf gawk binfmt-support bison libglib2.0-dev gettext
wget http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/sources/mono/mono-2.4.3.tar.bz2
tar xf mono-2.4.3.tar.bz2
cd mono-2.4.3
./configure --with-libgdiplus=yes
make
make install 

groupadd opensim
useradd -c "OpenSim Admin" -d /home/opensim -m -g opensim -s /bin/bash opensim
passwd opensim
su - opensim

git clone git://opensimulator.org/git/opensim
cd opensim
git checkout -b 0.7.0.2-release origin/0.7.0.2-release
git pull
./runprebuild.sh
nant

Statt OpenSim vom Quellcode aus selber zu übersetzen, kann man es sich auch einfacher machen und die fertigen Binärdateien downloaden.
