We offer two different product classes for audio streaming: Discount and Premium streaming servers. Both, Shoutcast and Icecast streaming servers are available in Discount and Premium Quality. So you may ask, what are the differences?
- Discount streaming servers are only useful for experienced broadcasters as this product does not include any support from us. All information necessary is available from our website, access information like server name, port number (or moint point) and password are automatically sent to you during setup.
- Premium streaming servers include full support during setup.
- As we are constantly rotating and upgrading our streaming platforms, the newest (and most performant) hardware is reserved for our Premium customers.
- If you plan to operate a 24/7 broadcasting station you must rent a Premium streaming server. Discount streaming servers are intended for occasional usage (like in a dance club) and should not be operated more often than 50 percent of the total rental period in average.

- Discount Streaming Server sind nur für erfahrene Benutzer sinnvoll, da diese Produkte keinerlei Unterstützung von uns beinhalten. Alle notwendigen Informationen sind jedoch auf dieser Website verfügbar. Zugangsinformationen wie Servername, Portnummer (oder Mountpoint) und Passwort werden Ihnen automatisch während des Setup-Vorgangs mitgeteilt.
- Premium Streaming Server beinhalten dagegen volle Unterstützung bei der Einrichtung.
- Da wir unsere Hardware laufend verbessern, ist die jeweils neueste (und leistungsfähigste) Hardware für unsere Premiumkunden reserviert.
- Planen Sie den Betrieb einer 24/7 Sendestation (z.B. Webradio), so müssen Sie einen Premium Streaming Server mieten. Discount Streaming Server sind ausschließlich für den gelegentlichen Betrieb (wie z.B. in einem Club) vorgesehen und sollten nicht länger als 50% der gesamten Mietdauer betrieben werden.
